tour aims to get a fast start in new distribution and awareness of the portfolio’s new vintage releases.
In addition, a key focus of the tour was to create buzz and training around the icon wines
and to generate on-site purchase.
Winemakers from Newton, Domaine Chandon, Terrazas de los Andes, Cheval des Andes, Cloudy Bay and Numanthia embarked on a 4 city, 4 day tour through Boston, New York City, Washington DC, and Dallas, TX. To further build the knowledge base of key trade, winemakers also participated in an icon wine training and panel discussion, consumer event and individual press appointments throughout the week. 1100 trade guests, 300 consumers, and 150 key distributor representatives were sampled and trained on our wines over the course of the tour.
